Record Breaking Hillsie on Top Form |
12 Swimmers from the Gators Top Squad made the short journey to Barnet Copthall in November to compete in the London Swimming Winter Championships where medals were won, personal bests achieved and records broken. Not only did Elliott Hill (15) win 2 gold and a bronze in the 200m, 400m and 800m freestyle in event best times, he smashed the Junior 400m freestyle record by 5 seconds and took both the Junior and Senior records in the 800m freestyle.

National Inter-County Champs |
Congratulations and well done to Alex Jameson (17) Stephanie Malcolm (13) who were both selected to represent Essex County in the National Inter-County Championships held in Sheffield recently. Both our Gators helped Essex achieve 7th place overall and achieved some fantastic pb's, Alex in the 100 freestyle and men's 4x50 medley relay and Stephanie in the 100 free, 100 back and the girls 4x5 medly relay. The Essex County Team only achieved promotion to the First Division last season so to come 7th out of 20 teams in the First Division is a fantastic achievement. Well done to everyone!
